Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings: #23

The 23rd character for the Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings is…Kanan Jarrus!

Kanan Jarrus Overall = 86

Kanan Jarrus was just a padawan at the time of the intergalactic mass murders of the Jedi.

At only 14 years old, Jarrus would go on to work as a freighter pilot and eventually join a ragtag group of Rebels in a desperate fight against the monstrosity that is the Empire.

So what makes Kanan Jarrus one of a select few on this list? His abilities of survival.

Characteristics

  • Motivational Determination (Strength, 90/100)- Is there anyone who had the will and desire of this man? Jarrus’ ability to see things through, persevere and always be self-motivated is what makes him a powerful foe. His ambitious aspirations of survival show off the willpower that is commonplace with some of the most potent Force-users the Galaxy has ever seen!
  • Leadership (Strength, 88/100)- Kanan has been through it all. Even after surviving Order 66 he goes on to be the man in charge of a Rebel cell on the planet of Lothal. It’s through his guidance that this insignificant bunch makes a name for themselves and cements their relevancy as a concrete threat.
  • Experience (Strength, 84/100)- Not only is Kanan a strong and influential leader with extensive qualities that solidify his respectable status but he’s also been through it all. Up to this point in Star Wars Rebels, he has defeated the tenacious Grand Inquisitor but he also has a lengthy history of combating the Empire and everything they can throw at him. Not to mention a bout with Vader which Kanan survives to tell the tale.
  • All-Around Warrior (Strength, 84/100)- As a Jedi, you’d expect Kanan Jarrus to be an extremely capable fighter, but his skills go beyond that. You can almost classify his fighting style as mercenary-esque. His fighting prowess is an invaluable asset to a movement that needs all the help they can get.
  •  Force Inexperience (Weakness, 75/100)- Because he was only 14 years old at the time of the Jedi purge, Kanan’s abilities of the Force are unpolished and raw. Surprisingly, the lack of a Master for more than half his life has not halted his growth in the Force by all that much. He repeatedly demonstrates an ability to embrace the Force at will. So much so that he’s even able to take on an apprentice.
  • Feelings (Weakness, 60/100)- It’s quite evident that Kanan has feels something for his co-leader, Hera Syndulla. Since his time with other Jedi was cut short, he’s had to improvise and take on a new code. His sensitivity for Hera is a surefire weakness alright, and it can be exposed as well.
  • Selflessness (Weakness, 63/100)- As a Jedi, Kanan is taught the Jedi Code. What all of the Jedi know and understand about their standing in the universe is sacrifice. If the moment calls for you to lay your life down, so be it.Now if this were any other time in history, I’d leave this characteristic out altogether. But because he is so vital and so importantly crucial to the cause, there’s no room for this kind of nobility.

Intangibles

  • Reputation (Strength, 85-100)- Known around the Galaxy as “the Jedi”, Kanan’s notoriety has him in a intricate spot. But the true measure of a man is what he does under pressure and even with being captured before, losing everything and repeatedly being under the spotlight, Kanan delivers in the clutch over and over again.
  • Potential (Strength, 87/100)- There’s no way around this so I’m just going to say it. There’s something special about this Jedi. He has the heart of a true determined champion, he fights for justice and even with very limited training, his powers continue to grow. The Force is strong with Kanan.

Final Word

Did you wonder how three Jedi Masters are behind a young man who is not and most likely never will be a classic Jedi Master!? He survived, it’s that simple. Very few Jedi were able to survive the clutches of Darth Sidious and the clones but Kanan Jarrus was one of them. Now he definitely has strong potential but let’s be clear here. He’s no Anakin, he’s no Luke, heck he’s not even an Ezra Bridger! But one thing is for sure and that is his abilities to fight, to lead and to persevere are still very powerful. Kanan is a very fascinating character. He’s practically a hybrid Jedi. He’s got a bit of mercenary in him as well as a guerrilla-like freedom fightery side. Nonetheless, he packs a punch and never shies away from action.

Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings: #24

The 24th character for the Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings is….Ki-Adi-Mundi!

Ki-Adi-Mundi overall = 84

As the entire Galaxy fell deeper in the impermeable shadows and darkness that was the Clone Wars, a bright light during these times was Ki-Adi-Mundi.

An elder statesmen on the Jedi Council, the experienced Jedi Master was also a member of the secretive and very private High Council of the Jedi Order.

The almost two meters tall male Cerean was an able-bodied warrior who participated, willingly or not, in many pivotal moments of the Jedi Order.

KAM sat on the Jedi Council when Darth Maul, the first Sith in over a thousand years, was revealed.

He fought and survived in the Battle of Geonosis with other notable Jedi Masters such as Mace Windu, Yoda and Plo Koon in what was the beginning of the Clone Wars.

And lastly, he was a victim of the insidious plot that is known as Order 66.

Characteristics

  • Knowledge (Strength, 87/100)- KAM’s vast experiences of the Galaxy allowed him to know as well as understand the ebb and flow of the Galaxy. He was routinely sent as well as volunteered for various Jedi dealings around the cosmos.
  • Battlefield Commander (Strength, 86/100)- In being a General in the Clone Wars, KAM was repeatedly tasked with leading diverse war efforts in which he was incredibly successful. Many Jedi are strong leaders but KAM was particularly effective.
  • Combat Fluidity (Strength, 90/100)- KAM’s warfare abilities were extremely fluent and flowing. Lightsaber in hand, the Force at his command KAM’s reputation as a combatant personifies that is the legend of the Jedi warrior.
  • Breaking of Bonds (Weakness, 68/100)- When Padmé Amidala confronted two of the leading members of the Jedi Order on who she thought was responsible for her assassination attempts, disbelief ensued. KAM simply could not accept that his former brother-in-arms was capable of such atrocious acts. His failure of grasping the real threat in the moment was the first domino to fall in what would crush the illustrious Jedi Order.
  • Arrogance (Weakness, 65/100)- The potency of KAM’s battle-tested skill is evident. What was not so clear at least to him was the changing currents in the Force during the final days of the Clone Wars. I think Ki-Adi-Mundi was a victim of complacency. As Darth Sidious knew best, a strike by the Sith would be most effective when the Jedi least expected it. I believe that KAM never thought that the timeless Jedi Order could actually crumble. He famously met Qui-Gon Jinn’s claim of the returning of the Sith with strong skepticism. That would inevitably lead to his downfall at the hands of those he fought side by side with…
  • Overconfidence (Weakness, 68/100)- Someone as powerful with the Force as KAM would normally have sensed the very real dangers he was in at the time of his death. But unfortunately for him, whether it was the shroud of darkness that blinded the Jedi or it was just his lack of understanding of the situation, KAM perished on Mygeeto.

Intangibles

  • Reliability (Strength, 87/100)- KAM was special. He was capable of anything and skilled to complete any task brought before him. To call upon the white-bearded Jedi Master was just as good as seeing a mission accomplished. He did it with style, he did it with conviction, KAM was an extraordinarily reliable force.

Final Word

When I looked back and studied everything that made Ki-Adi-Mundi the man he was, it was almost difficult to find a fault in his character. Almost being the keyword…He clearly was a force in combat, he had all the abilities a Force-user could desire and his intelligence was absolutely elite. However, everyone has a weakness. The sole failure in the Jedi Master’s nature was his overconfidence. As I said earlier, complacency kills. As it was with many Jedi, KAM was duped by a force of sheer evil and dominance that was Darth Sidious. His inability to grasp this undoubtedly was the end of Mundi. From the moment of his denial of the resurfacing of the Sith his fate was sealed. It just goes to say, never judge a book by its cover. That happy and charming elderly man was actually the devil in disguise…

Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings: #25

The 25th character for the Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings is….Qui-Gon Jinn!

Qui-Gon Jinn Overall = 79

QGJ was one of the most beloved of all the Jedi Masters.

As much as he was liked he was controversial. QGJ was notorious for his legendary stubbornness which of course he proved in the end…he was right.

QGJ’s legacy will always be his belief in the “living Force”.

A mystical thought that almost went against Jedi principal. It was Qui-Gon’s idea that the “living Force” grew and fed from the energy of living things.

This of course gave the Galaxy Force spirits which would prove so vital that its importance can never be quantified in any amount of words.

Characteristics

  • Swordsmanship (Strength, 85/100)– Known for his talented skill with a lightsaber, QGJ was more than able to hold his own against any opponent, even a Sith. He was very evenly balanced, could incorporate power when he desired to and was especially skilled at diagnosing his opponent’s weaknesses.
  • Vision (Strength, 97/100) – QGJ was the founder and first to stress the importance of the “living Force”. Plus when Master Yoda is listening to you like a Padawan would listen to his Master, well you’ve struck gold! It is quite possible that this ability is the most significant out of any characteristic within the entire Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings. The sheer magnitude of this discovery is almost directly responsible for Luke’s eventual victory against the Emperor and Vader. Without QGJ’s padawan Ben Kenobi directing and counseling Luke, the Empire would be categorically triumphant for the rest of time.
  • Calming Presence (Strength, 86/100)- QGJ is a pillar of peaceful tranquility. His ability to stay calm, cool and collected and deliver under pressure was instrumental in the Battle of Naboo. Without this mindset influencing them, the Naboo would never have been able to retake the Palace, Obi-Wan Kenobi would not have been able to defeat Darth Maul and most importantly Anakin Skywalker would not have the confidence to take on the Galaxy and fulfill his destiny…
  • Beliefs Strength, 84/100)- Without his rock solid conviction and belief in what he was doing, the nature of the Force would have suffered. QGJ did not succumb to peer pressure even in the face of his closest allies (who were also his harshest critics) did he yield. He was deadset on his way of doing things and boy was he right.
  • Arrogance Weakness, 70/100)- Where there is a tenacious-opinionated individual there is arrogance. QGJ was guilty of taking his beliefs too far and even allowing them to get in the way of his progression within the Jedi Order where he could have influenced many of his beliefs if he only obliged to criticism on the occasion.
  • Age (Weakness, 72/100)- At the time of his death, QGJ was approximately 60 years old. Although that might seem like an incredible age to still engage an adversary, other human Force-users were much more capable than Jinn even into their 80’s! Age affects us all in different ways and unfortunately for QGJ, it handicapped him, almost severely.
  • Sith Ambush (Weakness, 68/100)- When QGJ encountered the Sith Lord on Tatooine, he was the first Jedi to engage the Dark Side in a thousand years. As a Jedi, Dooku trained QGJ well but nothing’s like facing a live opponent. It is unfortunate that his one and only Sith foe was able to best him. Of course this is not his fault but it still has to be held against him. Perhaps with more experience QGJ would have emerged victorious.

Intangibles

  • Farsight (Strength, 88/100)- Unique to his last breath, QGJ was always able to see ahead of what was in front of him. His impressive ability to do so gave the Galaxy perhaps the best Jedi anyone has ever seen in Anakin. Not to mention QGJ prophesied the balancing of the Force through the young Skywalker who was just a mere boy at the time. That takes serious talent.
  • Set in his ways (Weakness, 75/100)- Obi-Wan would be proud of this intangible representation of his Master as he knew him better than anyone on how steadfast in his own beliefs Qui-Gon was. Besides his following and preaching of the “living Force”, his ultimate persistence and tenacity in what he believed in would inevitably consume him. I believe it played a small part in QGJ’s demise.

Final Word

Qui-Gon Jinn’s devotion to the Jedi Order is unmatched. Even in death was the Jedi Master still counseling the Jedi. That is so powerful and important that it must not be understated. As for the man’s legacy, I think QGJ’s age played a big factor near the end of his life. It is my opinion that if he were maybe 20 years younger, he could have defeated Darth Maul and gone on to be a legend for all time within the prestigious Jedi Order.

Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings: #26

Coming in last place for the Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings is….Kit Fisto!

Kit Fisto Overall = 76

As a Jedi Master with a seat on the Council, Kit Fisto is an important figure to the Order during a time that suffocated in turbulence.

Fisto brings to the table a very intelligent, surprisingly capable swordsmen and one who is more submersed in the living force than others.

Characteristics

  •  Calm Mind (Strength, 84/100)- Kit Fisto was almost always under control in any situation thrown his way. His gift of never letting any pressure overcome the Jedi Master is what allowed him to survive the Battle of Geonosis as well as almost besting General Grievous.
  • Military Tactician (Strength, 87/100)- Someone like Fisto has the power to take over a battle and manage his way to victory. Throughout the Clone Wars KF was routinely able to maneuver his way through bloody bouts with the Separatists as he saved lives and came out victorious. Plus his troopers, the clones, trusted him and highly respected the Jedi. It’s also worth mentioning that Kit Fisto was of course a General in the Clone Wars.
  • Respect (Strength, *)- KF was extraordinarily regarded as a bright mind, a trustworthy Jedi and one who could hold his own. But like most Jedi, he’s no different in his level of respect. Honestly, this strength of KF’s gives him loyalty and trust but it does little to help him in a fight.
  • Awareness (Weakness,64/100) – Kit Fisto was killed by Darth Sidious in a very strange way. He very easily was defeated and practically looked surprised and not ready to engage his enemy. There are other examples too where KF is unaware of his surroundings whether it be in books or movies. The point being, Fisto can be bated into a trap which of course would result in failure.
  • Overall Talent (Weakness, 71/100)- Kit Fisto sat on the Council and was a distinguished member of the Jedi. But when it came to his abilities as a Jedi Knight, let’s face it, the man was quite simply just average. He had no superior talents, he wasn’t supremely gifted in any way and his downfall displayed just that.
  • Lightsaber Skill (Weakness, 73/100)- KF was not known to be an overly potent swordsmen. I would go so far as to say he was even a bit below average when it comes to his skills with a lightsaber.

Intangibles

  • Fighting Ability (Strength, 78/100)– Kit Fisto can dominate droids with distinct ease. His Form I style allows him to tap into the Force and control the battle from start to finish when it comes to mechanical adversaries. The same can be said with those who are not considered elite. Another way of saying this is, opponents who do not have the abilities with the Force are almost always defeated by KF (General Grievous). However he starts to be at a disadvantage when he’s up against a strong competitor who has the abilities of the Force (Asajj Ventress, Darth Sidious).

Final Word

Kit Fisto is a very solid Jedi. One who was not given the rank of Master but earned it. I have been very tough on KF but fair. I believe that he is a below average fighter who is well respected within and outside the friendly confines of the Jedi Temple. Someone who is a very wise and proficient military tactician but unfortunately is not solely a General. In being a Jedi, Fisto’s responsibilities are to engage the Republic’s enemies and foes. While he can hold his own against even the most powerful of droids and low to mid level opponents, he has a bit of a weak spot when it comes to battling top notch Force-users thus making him 26th and last in the rankings.

The Star Wars Character Power Rankings

For a long time now I’ve wanted to do something like this.

I’ve always been one who deals in absolutes and in doing so, I always liked to stack up the competition against each other and see where everyone stands.

In other words, Star Wars is a vast collection of many diverse characters whom are all extremely powerful.

But who is the strongest? Who is the toughest?

When it came to Star Wars, I always thought about contests like this.

Well, the Sith Pacify Blog has been fairly inactive in the past couple weeks as only a couple posts over that time have been published.

The reason for this being I have been thinking of a way to quantify a power index on who the greatest mainstream characters within the franchise are.

Here’s what I’ve got.

Only Main Characters

As I recently stated, for this list I will only be discussing main characters.

Now, there is a bit of a caveat here.

There is going to be a number of characters within the rankings who can be looked at as “not the most important”.

The reason that some of these characters are to be included is because their style offers a breath of fresh air with their uniqueness and their adversity in respect to the others.

Statistics

I have identified a number of statistics in which I will be classifying each character under.

For each category, there will be a number from 1-100 in which the skills and abilities will be placed under.

For example, someone like Yoda who is clearly one of if not the most powerful of Force-users would have a rating for the category of “Force Abilities” around 95.

For those of you who have ever played sports video games such as Fifa, Madden or 2k, the characters will be ranked in a similar way as the players in the previously stated sporting games.

Intangibles and Abilities

In order to insure individuality, each character will have a couple categories that will be specifically catered to their abilities.

For example, I’ll tell you right now that a character like Kylo Ren will have the category “emotion” listed.

For each category that a character receives, it will be stated whether they help the character or hurt them.

I also want to be clear that the intangibles are not just positive aspects of these characters’ prowess.

They can be a detriment to the individual or a powerful tool used in battle.

Descriptive Style

When I am classifying the powers of the characters, I will not be writing down the backstories for each hero or villain.

Now I might list specific examples but I will not be doing this for every single category.

Simply put, each character will have their abilities described in great detail and will be given a rating depending on their strengths and weaknesses.

The Characters

As I said earlier in this post, I will only be looking at Force-users for this list.

In the future I will most likely add on those who do not have the abilities of the Force to this list but for now, characters like General Grievous and Boba Fett will not be included.

Without further ado, the following list of characters will be those listed within the rankings.

It’s important to note that this list is not in any particular order whatsoever.

  1. Anakin Skywalker
  2. Obi-Wan Kenobi
  3. Yoda
  4. Mace Windu
  5. Darth Vader
  6. Darth Sidious
  7. Count Dooku
  8. Kit Fisto
  9. Darth Maul
  10. Revan
  11. Darth Malgus
  12. Kylo Ren
  13. Rey
  14. Ki-Adi Mundi
  15. Plo Koon
  16. Kanan Jarrus
  17. Ezra Bridger
  18. Ahsoka Tano
  19. Asajj Ventress
  20. Darth Plagueis
  21. Qui-Gon Jinn
  22. Darth Malak
  23. Darth Bane

Well there you have it, my next many many posts will be the Official Sith Pacify Power Rankings.

Hope you all enjoy it.

The Solo Family Rift

Exactly two months ago tonight The Force Awakens was released in theaters everywhere.

After the curtains were raised and the smoke cleared, a powerful emptiness could be felt.

Ben Solo who of course is Kylo Ren, plunged his unstable lightsaber into the chest of every Star Wars fan’s beloved hero Han Solo.

Thus cementing himself as a bona fide villain.

Of course everybody and anybody who considers themselves even remotely familiar with the Galaxy far far away saga knows this outcome…

But there’s more.

As we try to make sense of everything, I think there’s a more than reasonable chance that a looming deficit in the Skywalker/Solo family will be filled.

When Han was killed, much more was lost than a smuggler who just happened to be the husband of the General with the Resistance.

With Han, the Galaxy lost a sliver of hope; an individual who was instrumental in many distant clashes with the defeated Empire.

Someone who was as much responsible in the sacking of the first Death Star as Luke was.

But as we gather our thoughts and try and carry on, something jumps out.

With Han now out of the picture, the puzzle is left with Kylo Ren and Leia as a remaining piece is missing.

So I ask you this. Is Rey that piece?

It’s clear that Han took a liking to her almost immediately and that the chemistry was blatantly there.

ReyHan3

What about when Rey seemingly sees Leia for the first time?

Think there’s something there too?

Sure looked that way…

tumblr_o2m71pEG4q1qavxvko1_1280.png

Lastly, what about the combative and emotional Kylo Ren?

It seemed that Ren was caught off guard immediately after “a girl” was said to be with the The First Order’s escaped trooper (Finn).

Even more so, it almost was as if Kylo Ren knew exactly who this girl was after she awoke in the interrogation cell.

There is definitely a noticeable look in his eyes when he had Rey all to himself.

Almost as if, he knows who she is and is eager to speak with her…

4972970-0272088028-twoup.jpgIt’s my opinion that Rey is Han and Leia’s daughter and that Kylo Ren is indeed her older brother.

The evidence for her to be the daughter of Luke is overwhelming as well and that very easily could be the case.

But there’s a rivalry brewing between Rey and Kylo Ren.

To me, for them to be cousins is not strong enough of a foundation.

I think that Rey is the missing piece in the equation that is the Skywalker/Solo family tree.

I think she is the key to Intergalactic progress whether that be enslaving every being and turning to the Dark Side or freeing the aforementioned Galaxy of its shackles once and for all.

I guess we’ll just have to wait to know for sure…

Can You Feel The Hate?

The following is an excerpt from Emperor Palpatine’s personal journal. The entry was entered approximately three months after the overthrowing of the Jedi and the proclamation of the Galactic Empire….

The darkness surrounds me.

I am the darkness.

As I sit here on my throne on the capital of capitals, my mind drifts.

Coruscant is banished, that word no longer exists. To utter that very word is a punishable offense.

Imperial Center is the gem of the Galaxy. It has a fitting ring to it doesn’t it?

Long ago the great Sith Emperor Lord Vitiate renamed his homeworld to Nathema so why can’t I rename the center of the universe?

After all, it is mine isn’t it?

I did eliminate and butcher all those who opposed me right?

All those who rose up and attempted to quell my unquenchable thirst for power met the ax…or soon will.

You see, I am a force that handles power with grace. One who values extreme loyalty more than words can ever describe.

Ah yes, the dark shadows that constantly surround me are effervescent.

Emperor_RotJ

A normal being would succumb to its heinous malevolence but there is nothing normal about me.

I am Darth Sidious, Dark Lord of the Sith.

I am the Sith…

From when I was a little boy on my native planet of Naboo to when I was an aspiring politician traveling the mid-rim, I knew what I was.

Malicious intent was always my forte.

The guise of an elderly and kind man who’s trust was given to by every being in the Galaxy oh how foolish you all were.

You see, it was my plan the entire time to conspire against everyone and anyone.

To inevitably distort every reality as you all knew it.

Even mine.

I would forfeit my secure and lofty seat above the vaunted Republic for something more.

Gamble my good fortune and well being for something more extravagant.

I was already a mere mortal controlling the current situations of man but now I am a God controlling the very existence and destiny of man.

Do you see what I have become?

Do you understand the power that I command?

No, you never will.

It is a gift of vision, a gift that only I exude.

It is my weapon that is sprayed mercilessly throughout my Galaxy.

Death and hate.

Despair and misery.

Anguish and dejection.

There is no hope.

Everything and anything is mine.

Even you.

You are mine.

It is pointless to struggle.

What is done is done.

You all serve me now.

Unlike before where I gained your trust, I will ultimately take your very souls.

The darkness surrounds me and soon it shall surround you too.

The Steady Improvement of Star Wars Rebels

15 episodes in to the second season of Star Wars Rebels and we’re starting to see the potential.

As I’ve noted in past posts, Star Wars Rebels is a very good show but it has lacked the luster of The Clone Wars.

The Clone Wars was action packed with adventure, battles and most importantly the Force.

Well it appears that Rebels is starting to get the hint and making its way in the same direction that made The Clone Wars so popular.

The key transition for the show is the newfound additives of the Force which now seems to be a constant in its episodes.

hqdefault.jpg

In the show’s first season, it seemed that the storyline and the plot were being forced on us while at the same time the very essence of Star Wars (the Force) was minimized.

To be fair, as the first season progressed it integrated the Force nicely and became extremely appealing but as for the current state of the show?

It’s at an all-time high.

What really propelled Rebels has been the combining of furthering the stories of its main characters and the steady development of Ezra’s abilities with the Force.

Plus the fact that there seems to be a dark cloud saturated with the Dark Side that is slowly following the young Bridger is extremely appealing.

As for Rebels, it seems that there’s a powerful following that they have successfully gravitated towards the show and I think the connecting of old characters to new is responsible for this.

REB_IA_11815.jpg

Take Ahsoka Tano for example.

The fact that she’s a main cog in this early movement gives us major insight into the birth of what we know today as the Rebellion that against all odds took down the Empire.

It’s just so cool to think that as the years go on and as the Rebels eventually take down the first Death Star above Yavin 4, two of the main components in the Rebellion are Anakin’s offspring and thus the link to Ahsoka becomes even more fascinating.

It would be so interesting to know if Princess Leia knew of Ahsoka during this time and later when she does find out about Vader being her father, it would be intriguing to know if  she ever connected the dots on who Ahsoka really was…

Interesting.

All I know is every week I find myself so badly looking forward to the week’s episode of Rebels.

And for us Star Wars fans that can never get enough, that’s obviously a good thing.

We want this show to succeed, no we NEED this show to succeed.

If Rebels  becomes more and more popular than the possibilities are endless.

For now, we have something good on our hands.

Let’s keep it that way.

We NEED More Darth Maul!

When you think of awesome Star Wars characters, Darth Maul is one of the first that comes to mind.

He is by far the most unique, animal-like beings throughout the entire saga.

Whether it’s his snarl that best resembles a predator ready to leap or his voracious heaves of his lightsaber, Darth Maul is a literal beast.

So if you’re reading this you’re probably saying “Of course he is, we all know that. What’s your point?”

Well my point is this: Why is a character that is so spectacularly awesome barely in Star Wars????

The man is a revenge seeking missile hellbent on vindicating his name and glory as he believes himself to be the chosen one.

He is a civilized entity that breathes fire and spits lightning.

Darth Maul, Lord of the Sith is about as terrifying and merciless as anyone in Star Wars history.

The following clip sums up the guy’s prowess perfectly. Check it out.

Now that’s some powerful stuff…

You have to be pretty cold-hearted to walk in Darth Maul’s shoes.

But you know all of this.

So where am I trying to go with this?

The point is, Darth Maul is returning.

The Dathomirian devil will return to Star Wars Rebels at some point in Season 2.

With another episode tomorrow night, the excitement of the possibility of seeing the legendary Sith/assassin back in action is at an all time high.

It will be fascinating to see what this prolific character’s role will be as there are a million ways to go.

Will he be a secret agent working directly under Darth Sidious with the sole intent of bringing Ezra Bridger to face the Emperor?

Will he be a lone wolf dedicated to the shadows as much as the Dark Side?

Or will he be a scarred and battered soul that is working against his former Master?

With so many possibilities it makes you wonder. What the heck took so long!?

Darth Maul is a character that has so much to offer everyone.

He provides a shiny new plot to any story, he excites Star Wars fans of any age with his unorthodox style and he is undeniably a force to be reckoned with.

I think it’s a darn shame that it took this long for Maul to be reintroduced to the mainstream audiences of Star Wars.

By mainstream I simply mean television or movies rather than books or comics.

Now, yes he was in The Clone Wars but only in a handful of episodes out of well over a hundred and you know what? That doesn’t do this great character justice.

I firmly believe that Darth Maul deserves his own independent film and hey, maybe that’s the direction Disney is going here.

If that is the case then well, Disney? THE WORLD THANKS YOU!

But in all seriousness, there should be about half a dozen video games dedicated to this guy, he should have his own show that mainly focuses on Maul’s acts of the Dark and like I said, even his own movie.

Just think about it…

There’s no one like him! Darth Maul is arguably the most physically gifted character, one of the most talented lightsaber wielders and his skills as an assassin just add to his legendary status of elite!

The man survived being cut in half and a never ending fall for goodness’ sake!

Not even the powerful Mace Windu was able to survive similar a defeat…or so we think…

Anyways, I just think Darth Maul deserves so much more credit than what he’s gotten in terms of recognition.

I think he needs to be in more of the spotlight and honestly, I expect that to be the case in the future.
